To book our venue for an upcoming photography session, please fill out the form below. Our session fee includes access to the farm for up to 2 hours, as well as access to a private changing room. This fee also allows us to keep the grounds blooming and beautiful for our creatives!

*Barnwood Farms does not have an in-house photographer. Scheduling a session with us means you're booking the space for a client or have a pre-hired photographer. While we can't provide a photographer for you, we can recommend some amazing local ones!

Are pets allowed?Yes, we love pets! We just ask that you keep them leashed (except when they are being photographed) and out of the flowers. Oh, and if they poop, please pick it up!

What if it rains the day of my session?Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, and you’ll need to reschedule. No problem! Give us a call or shoot us an email, and we will work out a rain date.

Where on the property can we go?Barnwood Farms consists of 27 acres of flower and lavender fields, wildflower fields, and woodlots. Most of this area is available for you to use for your photo shoots, however, there is a private residence on the property, and we kindly ask that you refrain from this area.

Can we bring our own props?You're welcome to bring props for your photo session. If you or your client, would like to bring something out of the ordinary, please let us know ahead of time, and we will make the proper arrangements.

Can we pick flowers for the photo session?Yes, you can pick a limited number of flowers as props for your photo session. However, if you would like to pick bouquets, we ask that you purchase them at our normal U-Pick rates.

Does your space have room for pre ceremony photos? Where do you recommend?Yes, you will have full use of the grounds during your scheduled time. We highly recommend photos in front of our rustic barn, and in our blooming flowers, lavender rows, and grassy backfields.

Do you provide amenities or offer rentals?Barnwood Farms offers full-service wedding florals, such as bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, arrangements, and centerpieces. We’d love to work with you and bring your vision to life. Please email rick@barnwoodfarmswaupaca.com to discuss wedding flowers and pricing. Our ceremony space comes equipped with a large wooden arch. We highly recommend working with us to create arch florals or garland to really bring it to life. This is offered at an additional cost. Need more seating? Additional white folding chairs are available at an additional cost. We have aisle runners, lanterns, and a phone sign that are available for rent.

Will someone from Barnwood Farms be at our wedding?Absolutely! Rest assured, a Barnwood Farms team member will be on-site to answer any questions and attend to day-of needs.

What is your ceremony package pricing?We take pride in offering a beautiful and affordable wedding ceremony space for our couples. Reservations can be made online. We require half down at the time of reservation, with the remaining amount due one month prior to the wedding date. We accept credit/debit cards. May - October (Please note that our flowers are seasonal, with peak seasons July - September) Friday - Saturday: $1,500 Sunday - Thursday: $1,200

Will U-Pick be open during my reserved wedding time?No, the farm and U-Pick will be closed to the public during your reserved wedding time, so you can enjoy exclusive access.

Who is responsible for set up and take down? When can we do this?The bridal party is responsible for set up and take down of personal ceremony items. Our team will set up folding chairs and any purchased add-ons. Barnwood Farms is not responsible for any lost or stolen items during the reservation time.

Does your venue require a day of coordinator?We do not require a day-of coordinator, nor do we provide one for you. That said, we’re happy to work with you on your day-of details to make sure your ceremony runs smoothly. For full-service day-of coordination services, we recommend hiring an outside vendor.

I’d like to reserve a date for my wedding. What do I do now?First off, we’re so excited you have chosen The Pines at Barnwood Farms for your ceremony site! Are there any prohibited items? I.e. candles, fog machines, etc.The throwing of rice, birdseed, or other small items is prohibited within the ceremony area. Candles are also prohibited, however flameless candles are allowed. Excessively loud music is not permitted.

What does your ceremony package include?Our ceremony package includes five hours of exclusive access to our flower farm and venue. This includes time before and after the ceremony to get ready, set up and tear down time (parties are responsible for their own set up/tear down), and if you’d like, an on-site cocktail hour. During your reserved time, you will have access to our indoor shelter and outdoor space, Nolan's Nook. These areas can be used as getting ready spaces for the bridal party or to house decor as needed. This space also offers two restrooms for wedding guests. Ceremony packages also include a two hour use of the ceremony area for a rehearsal the day before your wedding.

Does your venue offer both a ceremony and reception site?At The Pines at Barnwood, we specialize in ceremony-only events. While we don't host receptions ourselves, there are fantastic options for receptions in and around the Waupaca area, and we'd be more than happy to provide some recommendations. Choosing to hold your ceremony and reception at separate locations offers several advantages: you can find venues that perfectly match your style, enjoy the freedom to customize each part of your day, avoid the hassle of room transitions, and potentially save some money.

How can I visit / tour the venue? Do you require pre wedding visits leading up to the big day?We highly recommend a pre-wedding visit to help you fully see the space and envision your special day. Venue tours can be scheduled here. We look forward to meeting you and showing you the farm!

How many guests can the ceremony site hold?This Pines is approximately 500 square feet, and can accommodate weddings up to 120 people.

Do you have a parking amenities?We have two separate parking areas that can accommodate approximately 40 cars. Parking is not allowed on the road.

Does the ceremony site have AV capabilities? Can we bring in a microphone and speakers?The ceremony space does not have electricity, however you’re more than welcome to bring in a bluetooth speaker and/or microphone. We find this has worked well for the space.

What happens if it rains on our day! Is there a postponement / cancellation policy?We’re an outdoor-only venue, meaning that our ceremony space is our Plan A and Plan B. In the event that it does rain on your special day, we have fair coverage under the pines and clear umbrellas to make your day as magical as ever. Here we believe the most important part of a wedding is to marry your best friend, whether that’s under sunny or rainy skies. In the case of severe weather, we will work with you to come up with an alternative plan.

Can we have alcohol on the property?Yes, we allow our wedding clients to bring in outside alcohol. We kindly ask that all trash is picked up before you leave to help keep our grounds clean. Safety is our number one priority, so anyone who has been drinking must have a sober driver or safe transportation. If you are interested in serving alcohol to your guests, a licensed bartender must be present and have a current liquor license. We will ask for proper documentation prior to your wedding.
