Thank you for a beautiful 2025 season in the fields! From July through September, we loved seeing families, friends, and visitors from near and far make memories among the flowers.
Our U-Pick is now closed for the year, but we’ll be back in summer 2026 with even more blooms to wander through and take home. Mark your calendars—opening day is July 15, 2026!
Until then, keep us in mind for fresh flower arrangements, gifts, weddings, and special events year-round. We can’t wait to welcome you back next summer to stroll the rows of sunflowers, zinnias, dahlias, cosmos, and more.
Since opening in the summer of 2021, our U-Pick flower fields have grown into one of Waupaca’s most beloved seasonal traditions. With each year, we’ve expanded, planting even more varieties so you can wander through rows of stately sunflowers, delicate cosmos, elegant dahlias, and colorful zinnias, choosing stems that speak to you.
We offer U-Pick flower experiences all season long, with fresh blooms ready from summer through early fall. Come for a peaceful morning amongst the flowers, a fun family outing, or a spontaneous date idea—every visit is different, and every bouquet is uniquely yours.
Located just outside Waupaca, Barnwood Farms is a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike. Spending the weekend on the Chain O’ Lakes? Camping at Hartman’s Creek? Just looking for something different to do? Our U-Pick flower farm offers the perfect escape. We welcome guests from Stevens Point, Appleton, Oshkosh, the Fox Cities, and beyond—because no trip to Waupaca is complete without a stroll through the flowers.
How It Works
At Barnwood Farms, we cherish the opportunity to share the beauty of our blooms with you. Here's what you need to know for your visit:

U-Pick Season: Our fields burst into color starting around mid-July and continue until the first hard frost, typically near October 1st.

Operating Hours: Join us Tuesday through Saturday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, 9 AM to 3 PM on Sunday.

Pricing: We offer a per-stem pricing model, with each stem priced between $1 and $3. You can get a beautiful bouquet for under $20!

Parking: Please enter through the driveway closest to the barn; signage will guide you to the designated parking area.

Farm Info Area: Located in the shelter adjacent to Nolan's Nook, our Info Area provides clippers, detailed instructions, and pricing information. Here, you'll also find vases and other merchandise available for purchase. Feel free to bring your own vase if you prefer.

Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, and Venmo transactions. Currently, we are unable to process credit card payments at the farm.

Optimal Flower Picking Times: While you're welcome to pick flowers at any time during our operating hours, early mornings and late afternoons are ideal for the freshest blooms. To ensure longevity, place your flowers in water promptly after cutting.

Restroom Facilities: Conveniently located within the shelter for your comfort.

Pet Policy: Leashed pets are welcome to explore the farm, provided they steer clear of the flower beds. Please remember to clean up after your pets to maintain the farm's pristine environment.
